Divex acts as the data controller for personal data processed in the app.

For GDPR questions, use the contact details published on the official site and store listing.

2. Data Collected

We process account data (email, name), dive data (logbook, sites, observed species, photos), subscription data, and technical data required for security and service operation.

3. Purposes

Data is used to provide the dive logbook, sync your content, display your stats and trophies, manage social features, and handle Premium billing.

4. Legal Basis

Processing is based on contract performance, legal obligations, and legitimate interest for security, fraud prevention, and product improvement.

5. Recipients and Processors

Data may be processed by technical processors (hosting, authentication, analytics, in-app billing).

If data is transferred outside the EU, appropriate legal mechanisms apply (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

6. Retention Periods

Data is retained while the account is active and according to retention periods per data category.

Upon account deletion, data is erased subject to legal retention obligations.

7. Your Rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability.

Export and deletion actions are available in account settings.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

10. Ownership and Use of Photos and Videos

The photos and videos you import remain your property. Divex only uses them to provide app features (logbook, sharing with friends, backup and display). This content is neither sold nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. You can delete your photos and videos directly from the app.
